Saint Ann Maronite Church
Jesus was born in a humble stable, into a poor family.
Thank you, Jesus, for all the wonderful things you did. As we go along during the Church year, help us see that all seasons are good and holy, Help us know and love you more. Amen.
Act of Contrition
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong, and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy. Amen.
“The Scriptures are enough for instruction, but it is a good thing to encourage one another in the faith and to stir up with words. Wherefore you, as children, carry that which you know to your father; and I as the elder share my knowledge and what experience has taught me with you.” Saint Anthony the Great.
As a Maronite God is mystery: the mysteriousness between us and God enlightens our path. In prayer Maronites open their heart, as a place to remember God. As a Maronite, we will learn and should teach ‘life is prayer’ and the experience and awareness create an image of God. By Joseph Hazzouri
